Google Calendar Integration

By linking Everyone's Vertical Calendar with Google Calendar, you can view and edit your Google Calendar events directly in the app.

You can also share a Google Calendar with others and view or edit it together within the app.

1. Prepare Google Calendar

To create a calendar you want to sync, open Google Calendar on your computer.

Go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/, click the + button next to "Other calendars" in the bottom left, enter a calendar name, and create a new calendar.

💡 Note

If you already have a calendar you want to use, skip to the next step.

2. Sync Google Calendar to Your Device

2-1. For Android

Make sure you are using an Android device signed in with the Google account that owns the Google Calendar. Android syncs Google Calendar automatically — no additional setup is needed.

2-2. For iOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to CalendarAccountsAdd Account.
  3. Select Google and sign in with your Google account.
  4. Enable the Calendars toggle to start syncing.

3. Display in Everyone's Vertical Calendar

  1. Open Everyone's Vertical Calendar and tap the menu (top-left).
  2. Tap "Show System Calendar".
  3. Enter a display name, then select the Google Calendar you want to link under "Select OS calendar to display".
  4. Tap the Register button.
  5. Once it appears in the settings list, the integration is complete.
✅ Check

Go back to the main screen and confirm that Google Calendar is shown in the first row.

4. Share Google Calendar with Others (Optional)

To share a Google Calendar with others and display it in Everyone's Vertical Calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ on your computer.
  2. Click the button next to the calendar you want to share in the bottom-left panel.
  3. Tap "Settings and sharing".
  4. Under "Share with specific people", add the recipient's Google account:
    • Android user → their Android device's Google account
    • iOS user → the Google account they use for Google Calendar
  5. Set the appropriate permission level (e.g., "View only" or "Make changes to events").
📋 For the recipient

Ask the recipient to complete steps 2 and 3 above, then confirm the calendar appears in Everyone's Vertical Calendar.
